Andy Murray secured his place in the Queen’s Club final by defeating former World No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero. The Scotsman passed the Spaniard 6-2 6-4 after 72 minutes of play. Murray will now play James Blake, who was a recipient of an Andy Roddick retirement at 4-4. Roddick retired due to an ankle injury.
Blake leads Murray in their head-to-head 1-0. Their only meeting was in Hamburg in 2006. Murray will be looking to even this record and also win his first grass title.
