Rafael Nadal and his biceps celebrate during his second-round match with Nicolas Kiefer. The Spaniard eventually triumphed over the German 6-0 3-6 6-3 6-4.
It started out as an easy match for Nadal but then had a bad game in the second set that allowed Kiefer to take the set and get back into the match. After four sets, the Mallorcan prevailed and now continues to round three.
It was good challenge for Nadal, and Kiefer was able to keep him honest for the last three sets of the match. It was also nice to see the usually ailing German playing well and showing the audience that he still matters.
