Rain Puts Copa Telmex On Hold

Intense rain cancelled play in Buenos Aires. The rain came during Juan Monaco’s match with Horacio Zeballos. The two players were even at 1-1 15-15.

Before the delay Juan Carlos Ferrero was able to secure his spot in the semifinals after he got into trouble with qualifier Santiago Ventura. He outlasted his compatriot 6-3 3-6 6-2.

Between singles and doubles tomorrow, David Ferrer could have to play three times, and Horacio Zeballos could have to play four times. Things could be hairy for those two tomorrow.
